Much to Jamie Carragher’s delight Tottenham were able to grind out a result against Brentford, winning 2-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium in West London yesterday afternoon.

Three players from the Tottenham Hotspur Academy stole the headlines last night. All scoring their first goals for the club to send us through to the round of 16 of the Europa League.

That’s the title. We’re 23 games into the season and there is talk of Tottenham Hotspur being relegated.
A win is a win
To be honest that was an utterly embarrassing display of football. 90 minutes of that against a non-league side is ridiculous, I can’t imagine the type of fallout we would’ve seen if we had lost that game.
One foot in the final
Tottenham Hotspur have one foot in the 2025 Carabao Cup Final. With the run of form we’ve been in in the Premier League and the way the mainstream media have been chatting about the club you’d think a final is out of the question but low and behold Ange Postecoglou managed to get one over Arne Slot.
A dream come true
As a football fan from the other side of the world, I’m not fortunate enough to see games from the Premier League or the Champions League but on the 4th January that dream became a reality.
